Shirley E. Blake age 85, of Harper Woods, passed away Oct. 28, at St. John Hospital, Detroit. Mrs. Blake, a Pioneer, retired from Michigan Bell after 38 yrs of service. She was an animal lover who owned race horses. Mrs. Blake also was a sports enthusiast, especially bowling, and ran a couple of leagues at different houses over the years.
