Tessie Dahl, age 89, died Friday, July 27, 2012. She was born Friday, December 12, 1922 to Dimitries and Constance (nee Carkonis) Avouris in Detroit, Michigan. Tessie was a long time volunteer at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church and she has been a member there since the building opened. When at home, Tessie loved to paint and bake, however, she was always a gal on the go. So much so, that you practically needed an appointment to see her!
