Charles T. Roberts was born September 26, 1934 in Sparta, Tennessee to Homer Whitley Roberts and Bessie Mary Jane Baker Roberts. Charles graduated from White County High School in May, 1952 and moved to Detroit, Michigan the fall of 1952. Charles started work at Chrysler Corporation and once laid off from work at Chrysler started as maintenenace worker at Standard Oil and worked his way up to management setting up office in Saginaw, Pontiac and Farmington Hills, MI.
