Mary grew up in metro Detroit. She graduated Pershing High School and began working for the City of Detroit. Mary worked for the city for thirty years and retired, for another thirty years. She passed away peacefully at Odyssey Hospice in Southfield. Mary was a longtime resident of Detroit and later St. Clair Shores. Mary loved her Polish heritage and traditional Polish cooking. She made golumpki (stuffed cabbage), pierogi, and homemade dill pickles among other traditional polish fare....
