Richard W. Mielke, age 97, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 19, 2014 at his residence at the Sunrise on Vernier Senior Living Center in Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan. He was born on August 3, 1916 in Detroit, son of the late Leo and the late Augusta (nee: Otto) Mielke.
